According to ESPN, the Yankees have invited him to a pre-draft workout. Hopefully the kid will get a chance somewhere in the MLB even w/ his past.

If Almontes HS team is still the playoffs he cannot attend the workout--it is a violation of the rules

He needs to get permission from his wife too. 
Sorry but there is a ton of HS prospects with alot more talent, younger,better make up and no baggage that should be invited to a pre draft workout before Danny Almonte.
