dbat 16 vs tigers 16

DBat (Insert any age group) vs. Tigers (insert any age group) is always a great game.

Sharp's Mustangs 16 is better than both.

I have a unique perspective on this, as Youngest Hawk played for Jack Sharp last season before an arm injury cut into his season shortly before the MMWS. That Mustangs team is very good - an outstanding group of players (and parents for what it's worth). They have lost four starters from last year, and not sure what they have brought in. The DBAT 16 Team this year also features some great talent as well. The difference, right now, is the Mustangs have played together longer. But from the sidelines, I can't say one team has superior talent over the other - really. Both are loaded.

DStang 15 from last year wasn't even close to DTiger15 last year, different level totally. We will see where DBAT16 is this year soon, then we can compare.

Uncle Ethan that comment is so unlike the Uncle Ethan I know. However, I did hear Sharp is pretty good though especially with Ford in the 4 spot.

Yea right. We don't have any pitching and half the team is on vacation before season starts. Could be a good day for the "Bad Guys".

Little Crawdad is one Tiger 18 on vacation. We are down in Grand Cayman fishing and relaxing.

BTW - Grand Cayman is very nice I have heard, but so far it has rained every day (3 so far) that we have been down here. They also drive on the wrong side of the road.

Crawdad - Sorry to hear that your vacation is getting rained out ....there must be one big rain cloud hovering over the earth these days, not sure if DFW will ever dry out.

Be sure to check out the sting rays .... they're pretty cool.

P.S. Have you seen any albino squirrels on the island?

Game between DBAT 17 & Tigers 18 was played earlier today.

SWAC told me it ended in a 1-1 tie.

Beaven was there, but not in uniform. However, he did throw an impromtu bullpen in front of four baseball executives as the game was going on.

DBAT -- Lowry -- 1
Tiger -- Linty -- 1
7 innings

DBAT - p - Thompson 3inn, 1r; Foster 4inn, 0r
DT - p - Hamblin 6inn, 1r; Doran 1inn, 0r

Very good pitching and defense from both teams.

Kissin your sister. However pitching did look good. Intensity seemed a bit low. Looked like everyone had been off for a couple of weeeks. Hopefully we can win one this weekend.

We are already out of pitching!

You're right JAFO -- little intensity -- there isn't much of a rivalry between these teams at the different age levels. I told PantherSon it was nice to tie a team with a roster like yours and his response was something like, "they didn't act like they cared much". It may take a few games to ramp up for summer. The stuff happening down the first base line seemed a little distracting, but I suppose your guys are used to it. I guess we'll see you later in June.

Thats pretty good... (Raining in Hell) I would suggest that you see the stingrays....they don't know its raining!

It was pretty cool getting to see several players I have only heard about, but never seen play like Cole Green, Jonathon Kaskow, Tant Shephard. Those were some big boys!!

Great game as well. Fun to watch.
