Well my 2017 has dead arm. After reading a lot of web sites, there is no consensus as to what it is, but I have a good hypotheses and need all your help to figure out what it is. Especially if you've had it before. So what I think it is, is the act of deceleration. I need all of you to try this. Take a ball throw it medium soft , but dont let go And stop with ball in your hand stretched out front about shoulder height. Do it 5-10 times. Next throw the ball into the ground, but don't let go and stop with the ball in your hand about belly button high 5-10 times. Does your arm feel like jelly? I think this is basically what dead arm is, but with much more strain after many many throws.

This theory came to me because I remember I was tring to warm up by myself with no one the throw to. So I just threw the ball, but didn't let go. Then when it was time for me to throw for real , I had no strength , although there was no pain.

I don't play a doctor on TV. Nor did I sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I suggest seeing a sports ortho doctor. I wouldn't go on the medical expertise of any of us rocket scientists here. Besides, it may not be the same issue as someone else's son has experienced.
