I have read that these exercises are good testosterone boosters due to the different variety of muscles that are stimulated from these lifts. Any input/thoughts/ideas? Much appreciation.
I'm not sure about the testosterone boosters, but it would seem they would be. Those exercises are the best to do for their specific muscle groups. There are none better.
Yes they are... If you are trying to improve the weight on a certain movement, it is good to do squats the workout before, because of the testosterone release.
I've always just emphasized my lifts on my whole front of my upper body (chest, abs, bis, tris, traps) and have completely neglected my upper and lower back throughout my whole high school career. I have incorporated these three lifts into my routine and so far, I've been noticing a big improvement in overall strength. Swimming works out the back, too, right...?
