Death of Garland High School Baseball Player

Very sad article in Wednesday's Dallas Morning News (Metro section) about a Garland High School baseball player (catcher) and his parents who were killed this week in an apparent murder/suicide in Rowlett. Ian Meyers just graduated from Garland HS and was planning to attend Elon University on an academic scholarship and planned to walk on to the school's baseball team. God Bless this young man and his mom...may they rest in peace.

Prayers sent to the surviving family members, coworkers and friends. That school has had enough tragedy to last a lifetime.
