OLD SCHOOL
Disciplined players, more bunting to move runners, respect for the opponent, no taunting or showboating, tuck your head and run after a HR, follow your manager without mouthing off, team before player and player stats...
NEW SCHOOL
Worried about MY numbers, swing for the fence, bunting=gone, basestealing=gone, steroids, watch the ball leave the yard and slow trot around bases after HR, baggy pants, conspire with GM to get manager fired...
