If you happen to be in Deland this week the American Legion Firecracker Tornament is starting tomorrow and goes thru the weekend. When the weather cooperates it is a great tournament with legion teams from all over the south. The main field is at Stetson Universities beautiful stadium with games in several other locations.

From South Florida the teams I know that are playing are Boynton Beach Post 164, Boca Raton Post 245, Lake Worth Post 12, Vero Beach, and Ft Pierce. There will also be teams from Deland, Jacksonville, Peurto Rico, Shelbyville NC and several others. A lot of great baseball will be played this week.
