Deleted a thread

Glad to see this thread was deleted. As parents we just want the best for our kids but you learn as you go along not to post toooo much. I learned the hard way after volunteering our story to a writer. For years when you googled my son's name this unflattering newspaper article came up. Poor kid, I embarrassed him.

Good lesson to all here that if you reveal too much on a public message board it could be out in cyberspace forever! And in doing so we probably tick off our kids.

I may be different because I never worried about ticking off my kids---such is life---

Yea, writers, bosses, HR departments, coaches, and blogs are not therapists or counselors.

TR it's called respect and it's a 2 way street. I expect my kids to respect my privacy (which is why I don't post on Facebook) and I have learned to respect their privacy.
