Deleted posts

There is a LOT of that going on with certain individual/s on these boards!! I wish Bob would delete THOSE individuals from being monitors and having the authority on these boards to make such deletions. THAT would be the appropriate thing to do, ther is no room here for personal attacks. NOTHING wrong with stating honesty even if it is critical or negative, but, personal things should be kept between those who have the problems, not shared here...............

As a moderator, I agree that any post defaming kids or other members should be deleted.

There was an exchange recently in the seniors to watch in this forum where BigHit15 was brutally defamed. One of the other moderators deleted the exchange just before I was about to delete that exchange myself.

We do not have to agree, but knocking kids is not fair.

In fact, I had an email asking me to delete some posts that Baseball1 and myself posted on the Summer Baseball Section. Those posts were in regards to high school coaches not allowing their kids to play summer travel ball. I felt that all posters did not defame anyone and did not touch those posts.

I do think that attacks on kids in any manner need to be deleted. In fact, I almost deleted some of the section on Stetson topic because of the seemingly negativity toward one Stetson player.

Anyway, lets just all get along!

You are right on. There is a monitor that needs replacing. Let us please hear from others who are concerned.

As a moderator on this forum I delete or edit posts for the following actions:

1) Profanity or lewd references
2) Personal attacks of players, coaches, teams, businesses and posters

If your post does not contain #1 or 2# I don't delete, period.

For the record I have not deleted any posts unless they contained profanity or bashed kids or players.

My working for Team One has nothing to do with whether I delete a post or not. We have Greg Legg that is a moderator here and works for Perfect Game - I'm sure he does not delete based on his job either.

If Bob wants both Greg and myself to resign as moderators due to our jobs he is welcome to ask us. But since we both work for the top two showcase and scouting services in the country it might be beneficial to this site to have us stick around.

On behalf of several members our problem is not with you.You do a very credible job.

What about those Florida Junior Colleges that Florida Baseball Guy completely ripped to ribbons earlier this year. That was one of the most unclass things ever on this site. Coming from a moderator it was unbelievable. He cut down some of the best junior college programs in the country.

You think they are great programs then send your son to them. Just because I disagree doesn't make me right or wrong. There are certain programs that I don't suggest our players sign with - they can then do what they feel is right.

I hope you sdend your child to one of those programs and he has a great experience. We have sent players to those programs that were mentioned and they did not have a great experience - in fact had a negative one. I do not just arbitarily decide I like or dislike a porgram until we or other coaches have good or bad experiences with the coaches treating our kids the right way.

It's not about me or you. It's about the players.

Seeing that its about the players why then there is never anyone who jumps to your defense. You cant fool people that easily. Why dont any of your players or their parents get on here and tell us just how great you are and how much you have helped them. All I ever see is others who always disagree with you. Its not about you or me, its all about you. When you cut down certain college programs is it following the rules of the board? You should know your a moderator.

May I ask why a you, being from the Northeast as your info states, has a such an interest in the Florida Forum -----------

TR...I Hope all of us are allowed to to have an interest in all the forums on this site. You had a player on your fall team from the Northeast that played on the Central Florida Renegades during the summer.

Another webster from Illinois has a son playing for an academy in Sarasota. Should we not be allowed to post on other forums if we have
something of interest? Or are you just curious?
