How about that minor league manager that put on that display a month ago or so that was so disgustingly long - maybe bobble head night for him - he could definitely serve as the model for that

I guess his latest 30 game suspension must be over........

Actually the HR was his third time up. Second one was a K. Still, not too shabby. And he held on to his bat -- and his temper.

I thought it very interesting that Young was quoted after the game that he saw Jermaine Dye hit a HR in his first AB as a Brave and wanted to hit a HR as well!

He also had a nice attempt to catch the HR that hit the top of the wall that would have saved runs. It won't happen, but until he can bring a complete game to the field he should keep his "I" comments to a minimum

Delmon Young is one of the quietest, nicest player's he's met. As Anderson is a true model citizen and was very adamant in his remarks, it will be interesting to see if Young keeps his act together. No doubt he's a marked man with very little room for any more mistakes.

Wow! He’s off an running to one of the best Big League starts I can ever remember. So far he is 8 for 11 (.727) all against the World Champion White Sox.

In three games he has 8 hits, 2 doubles, a home run, 4 RBI and a stolen Base.

And so far he hasn’t thrown any bats at anyone. That 50 game suspension must not have affected his stroke. Tampa Bay is getting closer and closer. And there are other young stars in the wings.

I think the real test will be when he goes 1-20.

Will he be cool - or will he freak out?

We shall see.
