Hi, My son has a demarini composite maple bat. The plug at the end of the handle came out. What should be stuffed inside the bat? A red cloth. Seemed a little unusual to me and him. But maybe that is the way it is supposed to be. But I was curious. So I looked up Demarini on the web. It took some searching. Tried to contact "customer service." The only thing that comes up is a "warranty claim form." Then when you go to "contact," no e-mail address, just a snail mail address and phone number. You call the phone number, and you don't get DeMarini, you get their warranty service. I said, I am curious about this. She says, well, I know they put that in there. I said, well why? She says, I don't know. I say, well isn't there anyone who can answer. She says no. I say, Well, how do I contact Demarini. She says there is no way. Just the warranty department. If it is not in warranty, we don't care. Anyone know why the cloth is in there? Anyway ever heard of such a policy?
