I will again be hosting one-day showcase camps this December - one each in Dallas, Austin, and Houston. I am looking for suggestions to improve the camp.
I think this is already the best valued showcase camp out there with the 48 maximum campers, the written feedback emailed to every camper, and the physical and mental skills instruction. Price: $100. This doesn't mean it can't be better, so tell me your ideas!
I already have commitments for at least one of the December camps from Coach Cardenas - Head Coach SFA, Coach Malone - Head Coach at TX A&M Corpus Christi, Coach Jeffcoat - Head Coach at TX Wesleyan, Coach Blair - SHSU, Coach Trout - Tx State, and others. There will be at least 4 college coaches plus myself working each camp.
My schedule in the past has been: pro-styled tryout (run, field and throw, hit), scrimmage/mental skills training for teams not on the field - switch, 2 instructional session: primary postion and hitting, and another scrimmage/mental skills training. Wrap-up with recruiting discussion, Q&A, and awards. Again, the purpose of this thread is to improve the camp, so tell me what you would want it to have.
