I think it would be interesting to hear peoples thoughts on the high school coaches in our area. If you could choose, ignoring school, location, and facilities, who would you like to see your boy play for? Tell us why?
I will start by stating the obvious -- there are many fine coaches in DFW that I have no knowledge of. The coach I would choose is Coach Gatewood at McKinney North. Having watched many of their games over the past few years I believe he teaches fundamentals, plays an agressive hard nose style, and demands hustle from his boys. Also, and maybe most important for me as a parent, his players always look like they are having fun.
