Very happy to report that 2016 just heard from HC that his ED1 application to Dickinson College was accepted. His official notice was posted online on their application status page right after.
My wife first forwarded me a link to this site at some point early in the summer but it wasn't until Aug that I signed up. We were officially lost and miserable at that point (2016 and I). He had just pitched mid-week in back to back weeks at two D1 camps and pitched well (in one case really well). We were in the parking lot after camp 2 and he said "I can't pitch any better than that. Maybe we need to just give up". A few days later I came back to this site and started lurking and then finally I signed up and started asking questions.
I can't thank you all enough for all your help and guidance this summer and fall. 2016 would have most likely found his way to a D3 school either way but I don't think I would have made it without some sort of breakdown - I can't tell you how many times I said to my wife "the guys (and gals) on the baseball board said xxx" when she asked me what we were supposed to do next. Finally she just started her questions with "what do they say on the baseball board about xxx".
