The dallas dragons was started by Ryan Halder's ( the former coach of the plano cats) nephew. His nephew played college ball and also coached in college. He is starting this orginization to help kids get noticed by colleges. He and his uncle told me that they were really stressing player development along with all the tools needed to get into college, they even thought about a mandatory ACT/SAT prep class
hope that clears it up a little bit?
If this guy gets enough talen there, he could do great things. Give him a look
not sure what a "fly by night" group is, but from what ive heard Jeremy Browning knows what hes doing. Hadler had coached the core of this group for 4-5 years I'm pretty sure and now he is handing it over to his son. I definatly think its worth a shot to have your son tryout
I coached against David and Jeremy this summer and they are a top notch pair of baseball guys. I believe everything above as for their backgrounds is accurate except the name of Ryan. His name is David Hadeler.
I second Coach A. I know David Hadeler as we coached in the same league several years ago. He was also our league director. We've referred players to each other over the years.
His teams were always well coached and prepared. I wouldn't hesitate to have my son play on his team or in an organization he's running.
