Congrats to Delta State and your son for making it to the title game and getting all-tourney honors, Three Bagger. What an accomplishment. I wish Catawba could have made it back to the championship to play you guys again. We went 2-2 in four one-run games and lost to Delta 6-5 and West Chester 2-1 (in the semis). What a great tournament and what a great experience for all the players and their parents over the course of the week. Cary and the Team USA complex are fantastic places to hold this event. I hope it becomes the D2 Omaha. And, again, it was fun to meet you.
Yes, that was fun and I was sure that we would meet Catawba again. But I guess West Chester had other plans of their own. It was also very nice to talk to you the day befoe.
