Just from the look of things. I would say the game Saturday between Mesquite and Rock will determine the 3rd place winner. Both teams control their own destiny. Winner of that game is in the driver's seat.

Should be a fun weekend watching many of the district races take shape. Still lots of baseball left, and the big dance awaits.

I think the top 2 teams are pretty set.. They will be Horn and Tyler Lee. Either one in 1st or 2nd. 3rd is a two team race with Mesquite and Rockwall. Last meeting I believe Rock won 6-3 in extra innings after in the bottom of the 7th Mesquite couldn't get the run in with the bases loaded and nobody out. Should be another good game Saturday. I believe Rock has a bi friday while mesquite plays Horn. Could go either way...

I'm pretty sure Travis Moseley will pitch the game on Saturday. Then against N. Mesquite it will be either Lackie or Clinard. Either one of those two can beat N. Mesquite in my opinion. Anything can happen though! I feel like we will win out and capture the 3rd spot. I just wish it wasn't so close right now!!! Saturday's game is a big one for us. With Moseley going though, we should be fine. He's a gamer and has only allowed 3 earned run's all season.
