Rumor has it that the one eyed Pirates are visiting the long eared Jackwabbits on Tuesday at 7:00 at Jackwabbit Field.

I think I might have to see this one. Heard they cook a mean wabbit leg on the smoker out there. Yum Yum.

Yeah its been boring around here. I've actually been getting some work done this year, bad as I hate too. Yall need to stir the pot up. Have some fun.

hope to see a good one tomorrow night. Corsicana at Poteet. Corsicana has played some good teams early preparing for this district. it has been one sided in the past, but hope this years team brings their best. it was a laugher back in Jan. when longhorns 87 picked corsicana last in the district. good luck to littlewilk and the tigers!

Ennis 4-4
Waxahachie 3-5
Terrell 2-6
West Mesquite 1-7
Lancaster 0-8

how goes it up your way?
Head Baseball coach will be the athletic director for the district. The rest of us baseball coaches are very, very, proud of him!!! Big Grin

They have a great crop of juniors! We played them twice in the Heath tournament. Two 1 run games, we split the pair. They have the best hitter we've seen this year, Hunter Melton. I believe he's headed to Texas A&M. Their facilities are good, but to have a baseball guy as AD...sign me up!!!

Seriously, I've heard the assistant will get the job.
looks like Ennis is not going down without having their say in it. they opened the second half of district play by beating Red Oak. Corsicana is their Saturday, wonder which lefty we will see. about the only chatter ive heard was down the RF line Friday night in Forney. Hated to let that one get away. Forney's is the best hitting team we faced in district the first go around.
it has been difficult to obtain scores from both Dallas morning news and maxxpreps this year. my dad(Grandpa Wilk) does a great job of researching and sending me updated scores and records after each game. looks like the fight is on for 2-4 playoff seeding. we got one last shot at trying to stop that district unbeaten streak for Poteet Tuesday night. hope to see a game as good as our first meeting(1-0) with different results.

This week could prove pivotal for the Rabbits and their postion in the 15-4A standings. They have 3 games and none of them will be easy. The week will be big for Corsicana as well, as they and Forney are, at the moment battling for second place seeding. The Rabbits let too many games get out of control and only with some luck do they manage to pull a "victory from the jaws of defeat". Will be an interesting week, for sure, for both teams. Both Forney and Corsicana will need to be at the top of their games.
This thread has been really quiet this year, it's almost like no one wants to state the obvious.
So, I guess I'll bite.

This district has been extremely dissapointing, every team in it, including Poteet and their undefeated record is just weak. What happened? It was suppossed to be harder with Ennis, Corsicanna and Waxahachie coming in. Poteet is walking away with it with no fight at all! Is everyone else just that bad, or is Poteet just that good?

Is that an evil plot to make Poteet over-confident so they'll go out in the first round when they finally meet a decent team? Worked last year. . .

It's like watching paint dry
