Hello y'all! Basically I've been taking "infield velocity" videos (based on the Perfect Game showcase event) and I'm feeling kind of self conscious because I make videos like these public and/or share them with friends. My audience and for now, intended audience, are not for what I know, baseball people. So I'm more so looking at the speed component than what I assume is terrible form. The bad video angles and production are a hallmark of some of my videos too unfortunately. I usually try to throw at 90+ ft and occasionally up to 130? to the fence. Most of my experience is just rec high school ball and about 2-3 months worth of JUCO tryout periods (where I was mysteriously incompetent compared to where I'm usually at.)
If y'all have any mph estimates that would be great so I could compare them to kids my age who go play on colleges and universities with my own knowledge of INF velocity targets.
Basically I don't want to lack decent throwing velo to an audience of non-baseball people!
Sorry for the troubles but hopefully most of the HS baseball web understands the college/pro baseball dream and how that can go sour fast, and in my case not even being able to tryout in HS!
Thank you everyone and hopefully we can all catch a game soon!
