because wooden bats break after a good deal of use. do yall let people use ur wooden bats or you dont care? ME personally i dont want no one to use my wooden bat and end up breaking it. plus they probably would not pay for it
I really don't let people use any of gear, primarly because I payed for almost all of it on my own, and it's not cause I'm selshish or mean, its just that its mine and I worked hard for it and dont want anything happening to it.
Like what rhbaseball said, I paid for almost all of my stuff too. Also, like the next...1 said, I don't like anyone using my stuff unless they ask. But, I have a hard time saying "no" to my teammates so the basically end up using anything they want. I speak up and tell them about it. They almost always listen. I don't let anyone under any circumstances use my wooden bat. I have a Louisville Pro Maple bat. It cost me around $50. Isn't as much as those Louisville M9 bats. But, I don't like to have my things brake, ever.
BTW, anyone else find it extremely ridiculous that those M9 bats cost $100? I have actually seen some that cost more. Now, come on, $100 for a wooden bat is a little steep. Am I right?
You can get the M9s for $80. But when a lot of the Major Leaguers are using of course their going to boost the price about, and everyone will still buy them.
I am the same way as you guys I will noy let anybody use my wood bat period! You guys should take a look at Superior Bat company's website. They call them A Bats. I have been using them for the last three years and will continue to use them through college. I have turned on many players to these custom made bats, Very high quality maple. I found them to be on par with my Sam bats. They're are out of New York. Great people to do business with. http://www.promaplebats.com/
