Replies sorted oldest to newest

A throw is not required for a SB.  If he was being held on by either a field or the pitcher (looking over), they he is taking a risk to get thrown out.  Just because the catcher chose to throw to another base doesn't change the fact that he stole the base.  

Now that changes if one of the runners get's thrown out.  Then no SB.
