Draft on iPhone

Baseball America has good coverage. Perfect Game probably does too.

MLB has a page called DraftTracker on their site that follows it live. I believe it is in real time.
Thats where our hearts have been crushed each year, lol!

Last year during the draft Perfect Game web traffic increased 10 times normal. Allan Simpson and David Rawnsley did live coverage on the site as, even sometimes before, picks were made. They have contact with many of the people making the picks, so often they would know the pick before it was announced. They also commented on most every draft pick. Over 90% of the players drafted have a file in the PG database, so that made it fairly easy.

MLB.com has a connection where you can listen to the picks being announced. Draft Tracker is great for those who like to study the draft after it is over. You can even go back to previous drafts and check things out.

The first round has been televised the past couple years. I think it's on the MLB network this year. Of course that is a small % of the entire draft. With the new rules this could be a very interesting year.

Did I read the draft has been reduced to 40 rounds?

And the signing deadline has been moved to I think July 13th now.

Going to be very interesting to see what high school and college players actually sign now that the deadline date has been moved up. And how many Scouts will scramble AFTER the deadline to find NDFA players.

Yes I was aware of the MLB, PG and Baseball America's web coverage. I was just wondering if there was a simpler feed that my iPhone would get basic name and school type stuff with every draft pick. Trying to view an entire webpage via iPhone; well, you know what I am talking about.
