I'm not too worried. HS baseball season starts soon. That always coincides with weather fronts & rain storms that paly havoc with the pre-district tourneys.

Yeah I have it all figured out, Rain will start
on January 30th, 1st day of tryouts, and rain
every Tuesday, and Friday for the next two months!!!

I watched something on the discovery channel about water coming from the sky, but I thought surely that was just a myth!

Just got in the office from a day in Abilene....lots of burnt patches between here and there.
Talked to a guy that's son goes to an unnamed HS towards Denton, said thier new field is so brown, they are debating painting it green to start the season.

For you guys in the metroplex...welcome to weather in the Texas Panhandle! Our fields are brown year round, sometimes we think about painting the baseballs that fluorescent orange color. This is one year we'll gladly take a rain out, and expect one at the Lewisville tournament in February.
Told y'all that rain would come w/ baseball season. I'm looking for a rainier than normal Feb.
