Does anyone know when the open try-outs are ?
And do they ever pick up anyone from the try-outs or is it just a formality? Thanks

run7 - You probably should give them a call and ask directly. I can't imagine that they take everyone that tries out. I'm not overly familiar with Dyersburg, but the TN JUCO system is a very good one IMO and a great place to play! Good luck!
Run7Run, Lafmom gave great advice. My son has verbally committed to Dyersburg and is supposed to sign with them next week. I talked to coach White earlier in the week and he said he is looking for pitchers and a corner player for next yr. They have a good program as do many others in this conference. It was a tough decision for us to make but we felt that coach White promotes his players onto the next level very well. Good luck and talk to him, he is a nice guy and straight forward.
Thanks for the info. I know they do not keep all that try-out, just know they have yearly open try-outs. Will give coach a call.thanks
