Early Inter-League Play

I don't like inter-league play anyway but why are they starting so early? I think there was even an opening inter-league series.

I assume you are asking about MLB interleague play-- with the Astros moving to the American League this year, there are 15 teams in each league. With the uneven # of teams in each league, almost every day will have at least one interleague game so all teams can play.
