New college summer league?

Francis;
Is this the new League? Notice that they will allow HS Seniors.
Is there a "fee to play"?

Could be a nice fit for my son next summer. Anyone know who is organizing?

Thanks Bob. Probably will be a fee.
If this is basically a disgruntled ACBL team owner doing his own thing and starting a league, I'd probably avoid it. *If* you're already in college. As an incoming freshman may be fine to get some ABs against college players.

Yep, that looks like a disaster for a college player. This looks like a travel organization trying to cash in. (https://ectb.org/)
If you're playing on a college team, your HC should have input in where you play.

Agreed. I watched the ACBL last year in NJ. Great for rising freshman. OK for rising sophomores. Probably not where you want to be as a rising junior unless you really wanted a commuter league close to home.

My son that was in the WCL had all his coaches quit while they were on a road trip in Canada. He flew home on 7/4. His old summer coach runs one of the ACBL team on Long Island. He was able to get some work in, but yeah not where you really want to be for a season.
Fun fact, the president (I think he still is) and I have the same last name. Lead to all kinds of fun DMs.
Yup. Joe is still the president or commissioner or something
