How would the playing levels of guys going to Headfirst California vs. Headfirst Mid Atlantic compare?

I know that the academic component filters out a lot of baseball talent in both events, but I'm also aware that California is a baseball mecca like Texas and Florida.

I'll be attending both, just wondering what to expect.

Headfirst in California is usually in Sacramento right before Stanford.  I live 1 hour away and there is a ton of talent in Northern California.  The timing and nature of the event "thins the herd."  The academic label drops it down a notch.  A lot of the Area Code tryouts are going on as well.  Northern Cal also has a lot of very big tournies within a few weeks that have the elite guys busy with Zoots invitational, Nor Cal NIT, Nor Cal and Bay Area world series etc.  I would believe that you would see more year round refined players in California.  You may not see the knuckle draggers during that event though.  Mid Atlantic you probably see bigger kids with maybe not as much polish on their game.
