Not sure how things are panning out today but in a single elimination I will always recommend pitching your ace first and winning the game you are playing. Be smart. Start your best and pull him early if you have a big lead. Generally if you are at this level you have 2-3 good pitchers. Too many teams get beat by one good pitching performance from a lower ranked team. Not the time to leave your best sitting and never getting to pitch because the team loses in the first round.

Neither NR nor GB will need to use their No. 1 pitcher. They'll both look good going into their second game.

Pay attention NRBB07 to the date of the posting, May 21! Ofs10 was filling in the bracket which he had posted a few entries earlier. In the immediately preceding post, he advised that Kellam would play the winner of Woodside and Hampton. Then he tells you that Hampton won which meant that Kellam would play Hampton.

Crazy to see how much better Nansemond River and Great Bridge were over Eastern District Granby and Lake Taylor.

As for Great Bridge, Troy has not changed much. I remember coaching him as a FR and SOPH at Lake Taylor before he transfered to I believe Kellam. He has not changed much. Fastball was 77-78 and topping out at 80 but he moves the ball pretty well all over the strike zone and he is a very quiet respectable kid.

GB was too much for LT. I believe everyone in the infield had 1 error and we just did not hit enough. GB-Kellam game should be a very good one to watch.
Umm, I'm human I made a mistake! Read the post incorrectly!!!
