Having grown up in the Detroit area, I have good memories of Steady Eddie. In fact, I can remember when I was about ten years old hearing the word 'brinksmanship' for the first time (probably something to do with Viet Nam), and thinking it must mean someone doing something very well over and over again -- just like Eddie Brinkman and his glove....don't know when I finally learned what brinksmanship REALLY meant, but to this day whenever I hear that word I think of Eddie Brinkman.
Rest Well.

Thanks, Krak. I'd never heard the word brinksmanship before.
I looked it up and actually learned something today.

Thanks for the link, BP. I remember Eddie from his days with the Senators back in the 60's.
How about Edward Norton starring in "The Eddie Brinkman Story"
With that card on the left, I'd have to cast Shia LaBeouf.
I think the one on the right looks more like Leslie Nielsen. Not sure what the title would be..."The Eddie Brinkman Airplane story"...
