My son injured himself at the end of his senior year in HS and never made a roster for any team. He has been rehabbing and rebuilding strength for the past year and nine months and will be 21 in September.
He threw a pen with an instructor for the first time since his injury, and the first pen ever for this instructor. It went very well and my guy threw well keeping his velo around 85+ estimated by the instructor, who played MLB.
Anyway, 85 is a good number for my son who traditionally had a sick curveball which he did not throw yesterday.
So the question is, if he can find a college to play for, how many years can he play? He has been at a community college for 2 years and will have his AA by June.
Thanks, I know I can get the proper answer here!
