Are any of you heading down to Fla. for this tournament? My son's team is playing and I was just looking to find out a little more about the tournament itself, and any of the teams that will be down there..

It's interesting how money talks. It used to be the Elite 24. Now it's the Elite 32. Someday it will be the Elite 48.

So is anybody else going to Orlando for this tourney?
We're leaving in the morning and it's fun to see how excited the boys are. Our team is not an All-Star team or Academy, we are just a local club team and the majority of our players have been together on this team since 11U. As half of our squad is moving on to High School this Fall, it's exciting to see these boys get a crack at going to the Elite 32 to play some of the best clubs in the country. Along the way they won the 11U State Championships and 13U State Championships. It should be a nice way to culminate 3 years of hard work together before they go there seperate ways. It's been a fun ride and we're looking forward to having a great week down there.

We went a few weeks ago. This was our son's last year to go. (Have been the past 3 years-- we live close by so it's not a big expense) You will have a great time. it's a wonderful event, with very good competition. What age group is it--13? Good luck.
