Embry- Riddle threw a pitcher with a disability last inning of last game, and it was profound as I have never seen that in this situation. Not sure why they waited until the end as he was pretty good!! Kudos to the staff for giving this player an opportunity.

You must be referring to Jason Dodson; similar to former MLB pitcher Jim Abbott, he catches and throws with the same hand. Great story about overcoming adversity...

Thanks for the article, son had already done research on him, said he would have recruited him without a second thought.
I like to remind folks often that this is just a game, everyone has a bad outing, overcoming adversity is the greatest challenge to become successful, and that pertains to much more than sports.
