Am I the only one who can't get their act together when it comes to taking frozen food out of the freezer, thrawing it in the fridge....and then having it go bad...because something comes up.....you don't cook it as planned this afternoon....and now you have a game tonight (double header) and one tomorrow night, and one the following night? How long will thrawed beef last? Working full time and going to ball games, I am becoming more dependent than I should be on the truck that pulls up to my front door with microwaveable frozen food....so many games in the summer....and so little time...it's like I'm afraid to defrost anything now.....'cause I'll just have to throw it out....anyone else at a loss for meal planning during summer ball? Or am I the only one culinary challanged?

Season ended Saturday so I cooked and still nobody ate! I give up. I've had veggies I roasted last week in a bowl to make with pasta I planned to make Sun., then again today, and still they sit in the refrig. Finally made meatballs yesterday since the hamburg's been in the refrig. since Sat. and taco meat. I have no idea when anyone plans to eat here again. I thought it'd be better and that I owed them a home cooked meal since it's been so long ago that I cooked last, but if they don't care, I guess I shouldn't worry about it either!
