We were lucky enough to see Eric a lot when he was younger. While we had nothing to do with it, it was very interesting watching his development.
If you go to this link and scroll down, it gives an idea of how a player can develop over a period of time. Of course, all the tournament data will not show on this link, but we have lots of information in the actual data base from those tournaments. Also, some things only show up for subscribers, but there's no need to subscribe. His PG Ranking was #4 in the nation, #1 at his position and #1 in Florida.

Loving having Eric here in KC. Seems like a real nice kid to boot. Hopefully the Royals will keep him around a long time. Unfortunately he has Boras as an agent and he's already poo pooed the idea of locking him up long term early.
I saw him play in Wilmington (A ball). After watching a few innings I wanted to know "who is that guy?"
I was in the Outfield for a HR Derby at my HS during his senior year. He hit absolute bombs. The farthest balls I've ever seen hit at my school. One of our school buildings is right behind the RF fence, and it's a big deal to hit one off the school. He was hitting them over the school.
