I have enjoyed reading all the posts about hitting thought I would ask for an evaluation of son's swing. This was an at bat at this years Arizona fall classic.

He's a high school sophomore using wood from the looks of the video.

Yes, he was swinging a wood bat. This swing produced a double. Son is a Jr.. Wish he was a sophmore again as I would love to be able to watch him one more year. Wife would not have anything to do with holding back a year for bb ha-ha-ha.
It's very hard to give a complete answer from youtube.
From what I could see his swing looks pretty good.

His swing reminds me of mine a little. I will be a sophmore this year. He looks to have better rotation on his lower half then me. I have been taught that you might lose a little power with wide stance but you will be a much better hitter. Pujols is wide and he has plenty of power...

^^a little bit similar to yours, but he uses his lower half much better and has much better weight transfer.
It's a good swing and by making a small change will get better.
He lets the bat flatten too soon instead of turning into the swing and let the bat flatten on its own. Costs him some quickness.
