If you look very closely at the point where the batter swings and makes contact, something (not sure what...could be the real ball that was struck, if it was the bat shattering, then the hitter would not be ready to take another pitch) flies towards the left side of the infield.

I'm sorry... maybe I'm old, cynical, and blind, but I'm not 100% convinced this isn't some sort of staged event.

Looks amazing though.

That's an awesome video, but did anyone truly believe it was real? I think most folks probably realize that pretty quickly.

I think the most impressive part of the second video is how the catcher goes from right handed to left handed.
