I thought in Shep's thread that it was just him, but if others are seeing threads disappear, maybe there is something going on with our server.
Late last week you might have all noticed that the forums were down for a large part of the day. Our hosting company was fixing a server problem that was supposed to take less than 5 minutes, but took hours instead.
If any others have noticed specific threads disappear, let me know the title or subject so I can get a realistic count of whether it's two threads or ten or more, and I'll investigate with our hosting company.

Last week I went back to a thread to read it and posts seemed to have disappeared and they returned a few hours later
With my age and my memory seeming to slip at times these things scare me because I don't know if it is my mind or the site

That sounds a lot like it could be a server issue. Any others remember specific names or subjects of threads?

Julie - I sent you a pm on the matter. There indeed were posts lost last week when the site went down. infielddad lost one in the Millsaps College thread that he was kind enough to re-post.

You're right, those threads do seem to be all present and accounted for! But I put in a trouble ticket for our forums anyway, just in case...
