Can anyone share their experiences in the Prospect league? Son has an offer and trying to make a decision. He is not so familiar with this league because we live on the east coast. Thanks!

Bum, Jr. played in the Prospect League after his freshman season and really enjoyed, except for the rain in Cleveland. There's a lot of travelling involved and the talent level ranges from top freshman prospects to solid lower-level D1's and JC's.. I would rate a "B-" talent-wise.
Son played there this past summer. The league has divided into an east and west division, which cut down on the 7-hr bus trips. Feel free to PM me if you would like more specific information.
I played in it this summer. Had a great time. Lots of good people around. Good talent. You will see guys with great power and speed though scattered a bit. Long summer so lots of opportunities. Pro scouts did show.
