Eyesight

I have noticed that about 75% of our team (HS) wears contacts. Is that average, over the top or what? Does it matter to college/pro scouts. Does it matter based on position.

I know there is the Lasik (sp) surgery but what I have been told is you cant even consider it until your 18 and your eyes haven’t changed for at least one year.

Any thoughts or observations?
