Not talking about slash hitting, that is something totally different.

I must have my terms mixed up.  Locally, we refer to a fake bunt and hitting as slash hitting.

Too me slash hitting is where the hitter slides his hand back down the bat at the last second and trys to poke the ball through or over the corners with an abbreviated swing. I am talking about full cuts with the intent to drive the ball.
