Including football WILL BE severely curtailed. Maybe exhibition type games with other in state schools. Players temps will be taken no fans allowed. Same for basketball and volleyball. Everyone is afraid of a second wave as prior viruses have demonstrated. Gonna be a crazy couple of months. Hearing no bowl games or tournaments of any kind including March Madness.

What's your source? If that is true, it is really a shame. I am starting to see some coaches taking a stand against shutting down sports. Everyone is losing a lot and much of it is based on fear of the what if. There aren't any spikes currently with states opening. We are told to follow the science and the data, well that says opening up is ok.
And it will happen unless the masses speak up!
Apparently you can get insurance for just about anything... tornados, hurricanes, terrorist attacks, earthquakes, civil unrest oil rigs, tankers...just not for pandemics.
I’m sure there are a lot of unknowns right now making it difficult if not impossible to write policies for it. I’m hoping the govt passes a bill limiting Covid liability. People know the risk going forward. If they choose to play it is on them. Leaving equipment all over the place for a player chasing a foul ball to trip on is more dangerous IMO
Even tho Power 5 conference are saying they will play....VERY DOUBTFUL at this point. I think you can kiss 2020 NCAA football goodbye. Outside of a miracle. They want (NEED) that TV money sooo bad, how far are they willing to go? We already know about CTE and they still risk kids health so what’s a little pandemic? Need INSURANCE but can’t get it...will ESPN write a policy.

Yup, Patriot League is done for fall. Army And Navy are exempt from that decision, and they have to make up their own minds on whether they will participate or not. Ok, who's next to cancel for fall?
MAC postponed to maybe Spring. PAC 12 players pissed at conference leadership, season could be over. Players may leverage Covid for additional benefits....pay, likeness, we shall see.
B1G has postponed....more to follow. Look for some type of regional games in the SEC/B12. Texas vs Tech // TCU vs A&M // Auburn vs Alabama exhibition style games to keep ESPN happy. Not saying these are the matchups but somethin akin with limited travel.

PAC-12 players are like the rioters/looters...they want to tear the NCAA down. Maybe it’s time, players been screwed for over a hundred years. EVERYONE making money but them, it’s time...it’s time. 50k per year per player seems like a good start.
