TGONG, I played in both the Swingtown , and the White Sox fall leagues. Playing with Swingtown, we played on some pretty nice fields, such as UIC's field, however, my team had 5 or 6 different coaches over the course of the season.

I would take a look at the White Sox league if I were you, they offer an all star game, a showcase, and a lot of instruction before every game. Also, the coaches actually seem interested in the players improving, and my coach was there every single week trying to help us get better.

Both leagues are nice, but I would say take a look at the White Sox League.
My son played in both the white sox and Swingtown. We found the Swingtown to much better organized and better baseball. The White Sox promised a lot of things on the front end and failed to deliver. I know there is also a showcase for the Swingtown league. My son was also invited to Swingtowns national camp in based on the woodbat league that was a great experience. If my son were still in hs he would definately do Swingtown before the White Sox.
Boomer..good to hear from you as well
As for schools, I still get info from ND every week or so. I am also in contact with Southern Illinois and looking into Parkland College, which is a top of the line JUCO in the nation. We'll see how the fall goes, because I hear there is a lot of exposure with the Lightning. I'll be sure to see you over the fall and tell Andy I said hi.
