Anyone know if schools have it in my state? I am pretty sure my school doesnt. Do you know how long it would take to set up a team and games and such? I would REALLY love to play it in the fall!
By the way, my school just added Rugby as a Spring sport so I am sure Fall Baseball wouldnt be too bad of a idea.
I am a freshman in High School stumbled upon this page via google, looking for some good advice. If anyone has any let me know.

It probably violates MIAA rules to have a high school affiliated fall baseball team. You need to find a travel team. Some high schools in some states get around the rules by setting up travel teams for their high school players. The allowed participation by the high school coaching staff ranges from state to state. I believe there are CIF sections in California that now allow high school affiliated fall ball.

i know there are a few fall ball leagues in the lawrence area. they aren't school sanctioned team's,a few dad's may get your team together to play.sometimes with a little direction from the hs coach. good chance to try things out. kids in different positions etc.

we're only about 40 minutes away,we went down there for years untill they started one around here. i'm not sure where you are in ma. but i'd bet you have a league near you.
During my son's younger years (8th-10th grade), we lived in RI. We traveled to the South Shore area where he played in the South Shore club league ( http://ssbc.com/fallball.html ).

Honestly, the competition was pretty diverse. Mike Lyon was a teammate, he is now in Yankee system. There were numerous other teammates who went on to college ball. But, there were also kids who were pretty raw.

He also played in a local league during the week to get additional games.
