This is cool. Newbie here, veteran poster elsewhere.
I am the father of 8 children. I have one son on a full scholarship at a JUCO, one son playing on an elite summer travel team (16) and another son playing on an elite 10 yr old team....Plus my daughters play travel basketball and my wife and I usually coach at least one of their respective teams.(wife basketball/me baseball) Its how we choose to spend our time with our children. We are blessed to be able to afford it and that all of our kids are into it.
Okay... MY BAD (as the kids like to say)
It's not my son... I got caught up in the messages and forgot the headline (Family Central) The kid who just signed juco plays for me right now in high school... my son is a senior infielder at an NAIA (and does have 2 little brothers ... the one with the most talent dreams about motorcycles all the time though)

Since this is the thread for it...
...in his first college series, JT, Jr starts in LF and bats lead-off:
4/9, 4 BB, 5 R, 1 2-bagger (his first hit), and oh yeah...
...hosed two guys at the plate--including the potential winning run with 2-outs in the 9th in Sunday's game--and the LC Hornets took 2 of 3.

In his post game comments, he was heard to remark, "I would like to thank the HSBBW for passing along all the wisdom to my dad. It was simply a weekend of very good KARMA"
(not really, but it sounds good).
