Shep- you hit the nail on the head. barry made the exact point. he told reporters they had no right to question him unless their "houses" were totally in order.
trouble is though that no wrongdoing can ever be questioned in following that path...
and again, bonds has admitted to taking the stuff, just not KNOWINGLY doing it. That's just lawyer speak to avoid intent, which is an element of most crimes.
as to the harm in this and the "stonethrowing" well, there's an old saying in baseball that if you ain't cheatin', you ain't trying. However, that used to refer to throwing the spitter, stealing a sign, maybe even corking a bat.
Unfortunately, the level this is at is the ingesting of drugs that can have devestating negative effects on you and to that end, you have youngsters following their heroes and take this stuff like it's candy. That's the danger, that's the problem.
