One of my favorites: In an episode of The Munsters, Leo Durocher makes an appearance when Herman is recruited to play for the Dodgers. I've tried to figure out if any of the other players shown on the field are 'names' or just actors......

Does Chuck Connors count? Some time ago Fungo reminded us of "The Rifleman" and how he learned his "rotational swing" of that rifle in his early pro baseball career.

I forgot the name of the film, but, it was one of those Cary Grant, Doris Day feel good/chick movies. Anyway, Micky Mantle, Yogi and Maris were in the dugout.

My favorite was Yogi Berra doing commercials for Yoo-Hoo chocolate drink.

Yogi also appeared on the daytime soap opera "General Hospital" - once - as Dr. Lawrence Berra. LOL

His acting skills can only be surpassed by his command of the English language.

Don Drysdale and Leo Durocher trying to recruit Jethro Bodine, of the Beverly Hillibillies, has to be one of the funniest. Jethro was knocking over the catcher, I believe Durocher was catching him, over and over. He must have been throwing about 150mph.
