Fence distance | High School Baseball Web

Last Thursday I was at our local junior college and I decided to walk over to the baseball field to check it out. I was amazed at the distance that was on the right field foul pole. It read 275 ft. I told my daughter this field was made for your brother. Have any poster's seen a college field shorter than that ?
The school is Joliet junior college. They are a D3, winning a national championship in 2008 finished 4th in 2009.

275 FT a bit short if college used wood bats, it wouldn't be too bad. Old Yankee Stadium was 296 Ft down RF.

With metal, it's too short a short fence. There's only one HS I know of in the area that has a shorter fence but that's it. Even the local Babe Ruth League fields are 300 down the lines

275 is short for high school, college, wood or metal IMO.

I don't know the distance, but right field at Morehead State is remarkably short, maybe as short as 275 or even shorter.
