While I am sure that fenwaysouth is too humble to post this himself, I am only too happy to post it for him:

His son is a pitcher and a member of the Ivy Champion Cornell Big Red. He also threw the first no-hitter for Cornell since 1989, as well as being named Ivy Pitcher of the Week three times. Congratulations!

Thanks everyone. We really appreciate it. Cornell had some incredible wins and good fortune this year. Son finished his Finals and papers this past week. Now that school is over, I hope he is enjoying his conference selection and award with his teammates. I'm so happy for the seniors (and their parents) on his team. Great people!

They'll be practicing and scrimmaging over the next few weeks until they find out what NCAA region they are headed to on May 28 at 12pm on ESPNU. We're finding the NCAA regionals don't give parents much time to make travel plans as games start on Friday JUne 1.

Dye your hair camelian so we know it's you. Red Face

Congrats to the fenways. Keep the ball rollin'.
Had the distinct pleasure and privilege of meeting and talking with Mr.and Mrs. fenwaysouth yesterday between games. What terrific folks!

Cornell gave us all we wanted yesterday. They played a spirited and balanced brand of baseball that, frankly, was a lot of fun to watch. It's obvious that they're well coached.

Thanks Prepster and calisportsfan.

Prepster,

It was an absolute pleasure to meet you and your son & brother yesterday. I wish you both the best of luck today as you'll be playing a very spirited ECU team. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our first NCAA regional experience at Chapel Hill. Very memorable. It is a great place to hold a regional. Safe travels, and I'll talk to you soon.
