14u only ?

I don't want to be rude, but I think you should set more realistic expectations than you have. To suggest that there will be college scouts following a 14U is unrealistic. My son played on Jack Sharpe's 16U Mustangs team in 2002. We saw very few scouts at the games & tourneys played by team, with the exception of the East Cobb Super 8 tourney.

Scouts at a 14u game?

Zap, You've clearly stumbled into uncharted territory. This is a HS baseball website which suggests that these guys have forgotten more than you (and I) will ever know about pre-HS baseball.

He didn't say scouts would be there, he said scouts had the opportunity to be there.

Good grief! Scouts dont have the time or money to attend 14U or for that matter, they are very limited to visits to 15/16U tournaments, with the possible exceptions of a boy wonder or some of the big national tournaments such as those played in Farminton or East Cobb. ~Aint life grand!
