Although some showcases publish a list of coaches that plan to attend, they are notoriously inaccurate. Seems to me your best bet would be to contact the coaches well in advance of the showcase season and inquire as to their plans. Keep in contact with them as the showcase approaches, and with any luck, the coach will have a chance to evaluate you.
I always plug HeadFirst, but even an objective observer would agree that coach interaction there is easy and encouraged. Most of the time they are wearing their team uniform (they coach the games) so they are easily spotted. The projection list was only inaccurate in that some schools who were not listed showed up. We sent tape to schools son was interested in about 2 weeks prior to showcase and touched base with the coaches at the site.

That is a good approach by touching base with the coaches. However I may advise, I do not see it is being very beneficial to send coaches a video, unless requested by the coach. Coaches receive 100's of videos and do not have the time to look through all of them. Send him a letter, and follow up with a phone call. When doing so, make sure it is your son doing this, and not you. Teach your son to be proactive. Some coaches frown upon parents doing there kids recruiting for them, and can also show lack of maturity on the players part.
